Going crazy because I've just found some water, more than a puddle,

so I can swim in it; becoming affectionate while solving a mathematical

inequality because the result is incredibly beautiful; then chasing a random

cat on the street, because I want to stroke it - that defines myself best. :)

In other situations I'm quite calm and reserved, though.

 

My name is Weronika and I'm 17 this year. I have grown up in north-eastern

Poland, which is well-known as cold and snowy, although, it's quite a nice place.

My village is called Skustele. Nearby, opposite my house (symmetrically to the

road) there is the lake where I usually hide, when you cannot find me anywhere else. In summer, I'm swimming, in winter - ice skating.

 

For three years, I've been a member of WOPR, which is a Polish institution rescuing drowning people.Since last year, I've been living in Białystok, so that I can attend my school. I live in a dormitory, sharing room with Kasia, another participant of the project. I'm also a lucky member of Fundacja Dzieło Nowego Tysiąclecia, which gathers Polish catholic students with financial difficulties.

 

If someone asked me, whether I have passed more kilometers by foot or by bicycle, I wouldn’t know how to answer. When I'm cheerful, I get on my bike, when I'm upset, bike is all I need to perceive things better.

 

I also enjoy reading some nice book or manga (Japanese comics) with a cup of tea, or fighting Creepers, especially at night, in an abandoned cave.What I dislike most, are: mushrooms (especially when I have to eat them), lipsticks, mosquitoes. I hate Creepers, damaging my hard work and effort. Other things I can stand.

 

To be honest, the reason why I joined this project is my friend, Justyna Polak, who persuaded me to try it with her. We both like writing and sometimes share our novels with each other, but it seems to be the first time, when I make such a venture in English. So, please forgive my mistakes. :)
