Senior High School in Andrychów may seem huge when someone see it for the first time, but actually it isn't. School's patron is Maria Skłodowska-Curie. She was Polish scientist, who won Nobel Prize twice (chemistry). She studied and worked in France.

She discovered radium and polonium and she was conduction researches on radioactivity.

I think the most interesting in my school are students activities. For example each class prepares 'the thematic day'. It's an event when students come to school dressed up in a specific way. Costumes depend on topic. Once a month school is full of princesses, vampires or people wearing '80s inspired clothes. There are few competitions and everyone has a lot of fun.

School can be proud of its "basement" too. This floor looks really nice thanks to the group of students who painted all lockers during holidays. They are colourful and beautiful now.
The motto of school is "School is being created by people".
