As I wrote in my profile I attend Zamoyski High School. It’s my second year here so I can say that I know this school quite well.

To start with I will tell you briefly about the history. The school was established in 1915 (second high school in Lublin) and originally was only for boys.

 

During II World War it illegally educated the generation of patriots and throughout all the years of existence has shaped many significant people. Currently the school connects tradition with modernity.

 

What is very characteristic about my school… those are stairs J. In the old part of a building you go down and up again just to move from one class to another.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What to say about people? In my opinion you can meet here many creative and individual people. Usually teachers are open for ideas and it would be really wonderful place if it wasn’t for our headteacher. As for me and many other students he is rather closed person and is afraid about us in every possible and impossible situation so we often have our hands tied. But we treat it like a challenge and fight bravely for our rights J.Thanks to many events and initiatives we get the possibility to express ourselves.

 

As far as I’m concerned I reckon that “Zamoyski” was a good choice for me. In spite of many shortcomings it has many advantages.
