Halo! Dzień dobry! Guten tag! Bonjour! こんいちわ konnichiwa! (^_^)/” My name is Detara Nabila Prastyphylia, but everyone calls me Detha. I’m 16 right now, but I’m gonna turn 17 this year.
My biggest life-goals of all time?
-Get scholarship to study abroad;
-Travel around the world and meet all of my internet friends;
-Live in San Diego, California.
I’m from SMA (Senior High School) Negeri 5 Surabaya, one of the best and top-notch high schools in my country, known for its students’ academic excellence; and the history behind it. My school have been standing strong since the Dutch era; as a part of the well-known SMA Komplek in Surabaya — the one and only in Indonesia — along with SMA 1, 2, and 9.
The things I'm currently interested in are design, fashion, music, and language & literature. For fashion, I’m into some specific brands like Brandy Melville, Dropdead, UNIF, Dollskill, Spikes & Seams, and American Apparel. I like to mix & match and do some experiments with my clothes, so that I could create my own signature, style. Basically if you need someone to help you with your daily fashion dilemmas, then feel free to hit me up *winks*

One of the things that make me different from the typical teenage girl in my country is that I love rock, heavy metal, and rave music all at once. Yeah, I LOVE rock and rave. Contradictive much, huh? Well, that’s the truth. But in reality I enjoy all genres of music as long as it’s good, just bring up the topic about music and I can guarantee you we would chat non-stop! xD
I learn many foreign languages beside English. Mainly I'm into Japanese, but I'm also learning German, Polish, and French bit by bit because I have friends from there and I always chat with them regularly and they taught me their languages. That’s why I love making friends from abroad; whether it’s their language or culture, there is always something new to learn! I also love photography, reading books, and writing poems, songs, & stories. It’s one of many ways I could express myself freely.
That picture on the right is one of my favorite photographs of all time. I took it in Tanah Lot, Bali. It’s very beautiful, right? Yeah, Indonesia got the best and most splendid sceneries in the world ;)
In the future, I want to be an editor of teen magazines, since I love to write and taking photos. Also, I’d like to be an ambassador to fight with the negative impacts of bullying and such, and to establish some kind of foundation to help teenagers in Indonesia who deal with depression and suicidal thoughts from family problems or anything, because I feel like teenagers in my country have lack of the knowledge about those topics. I want to be an anti-bullying and anti-suicide ambassador! :)
